About Project SEARCH^TM at the University of Rochester Medical Center

Project SEARCH^TM at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) was launched in September 2009. The project operates in partnership between Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES, Arc of Monroe, ACCES-VR, Finger Lakes DDSO, and is coordinated by the Institute for Innovative Transition.

Project SEARCH^TM at URMC - 2012-2013 Students

Program Statistics:

Since 2009, 26 students have graduated from Project SEARCH^TM at URMC, with 20 students (77%) successfully transitioning into competitive employment upon program completion. Twelve graduates of the program have been hired at URMC as a direct result of their internship placements.
